Founded in August 2004, St Joseph College of Communication, one of the major components of the prestigious project “Media Village”, is a self financing educational institution affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. This is the first of its kind in South India offering career oriented professional training in Cinema, Television, Animation, Graphic Design, Print Media, Radio, etc. The college is planned, promoted and designed as a professional institution in Media Communication to grow with visionary strength to meet the demands of the nation. SJCC is dedicated to the nation in order to provide ‘right media vision to all’ with a well set goal of creating a value based media culture and narrowing the gap between the information rich and the information poor. The college is open to all students irrespective of caste and creed; they are accepted and cherished as they are and are helped to grow in their cultural, social and religious tradition.
